ICMP is delighted to announce the launch of two new Music Production degree courses aimed at aspiring music students looking to launch careers in audio engineering and composing music for film, TV and games.

The new programmes will run alongside our existing curriculum including the BA Creative Music Production Course and our MA in Creative Music Production

Both highly practical courses will equip students with the necessary skills to master the latest specialist studio equipment and technology alongside theoretical concepts of music production and sound design. All students will have the chance to hone their craft in our state-of-the-art studios, including our newly launched facilities.

Professor Tony Harris, ICMP’s Dean of Academic Studies, said: “We’re very pleased to be adding to our BA Creative Music Production Degree with these new programmes.

We’re launching them in response to the needs of the UK’s evolving music industry and career opportunities opening up within the worlds of recorded music and composition for a range of new media. Studying these programmes in London, renowned as a global hub for TV, film and recording, should also give our students the edge when looking to launch successful careers.”

Jonathan Whiskerd, ICMP’s Head of Undergraduate Programmes, added: “We’re delighted to add these degrees to ICMP’s leading educational portfolio. Audio engineers are at the heartbeat of our industry while emerging film, TV and gaming composers have the opportunity to enter one of the most exciting and rapidly developing areas of the business.”
