The ICMP’s Corporate Board (the Board) is the primary governing body of the institution, which is collectively responsible for overseeing the institution’s activities, determining its future direction and fostering an environment in which the institutional mission is achieved while safeguarding the interests of students and other key stakeholders.
Specifically, the Board approves the vision, mission and strategic plans of the institution; the appointment of the Chief Executive; the composition and terms of reference of each Committee in the Governance Framework; overall staffing and facilities plans; overall financial objectives and plans and the annual operating budgets. Importantly, the Corporate Board maintains oversight of the institution’s quality assurance and enhancement (QAE) activities via the monitoring of identified academic and performance quality indicators (AQI’s and PQI’s) to ensure the appropriate resource is made available to enhance the quality of the student experience and safeguard academic standards.
