At ICMP, we’re committed to investing in the best teaching and learning environment for our students, with the latest equipment always available across our London Kilburn, London Queen’s Park, Liverpool and Leeds campuses.

All our ICMP campuses have large live performance rooms with stages and sound-isolation booths and a comprehensive range of industry-standard recording and production facilities. These include electronic music production studios, production booths, and mobile recording rigs and recording booths.

Our facilities are available to all of our students, so if you're a music business or live event management student who also plays or writes, you're welcome to book a rehearsal room or production room like any other student.

In addition, our two ICMP London campuses can be accessed by all our students, so even if you’ve chosen to study music in Liverpool or Leeds at our campuses there, you can book our impressive London facilities if you’re gigging or collaborating in the capital.

Did you know?

All ICMP students can use our facilities for course-related practice free-of-charge outside of timetabled hours, and we're open 7 days a week! Students can also access facilities outside of term-time, for example, during the summer break. *

* Please note, occasional closure days are required during key holiday periods (eg. Christmas, Easter, bank holidays, etc.) for planned maintenance and occasionally for events such as open days.

Recording Studios

As an ICMP student you have access to a comprehensive range of industry-standard recording and production facilities. This will not only provide you with plenty of opportunity to learn the skills and techniques essential to modern music production, but also to produce your own projects and collaborate with students from other faculties.

Equipment

At ICMP, we’re continually investing in the best music instruments and backline equipment. Our backline ranges from acoustic guitars to basses, electric guitars to microphones and everything in between. We make it possible for students to turn up at any of our ICMP campuses with almost no equipment and still be able to practise or rehearse.
