ICMP students have been shaping the future of music for over 30 years.

By taking an ICMP music course, you can be sure you will have the best opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and experience, and access to our extensive music industry networks to build a successful career in your chosen field of music.

All ICMP programmes are focused on preparing musicians, producers, performers and entrepreneurs for a successful and rewarding career in the music industry. And we must be doing something right, because within 6 months of graduating, over 94% of our graduates are in employment or further education*;  earning an average salary £5,000 higher than other UK music graduates.**

Our Music Careers and Industry Liaison team are on-hand from day one to support you in taking your first steps towards a career in the music industry. The team, run by experienced music industry professionals and careers counsellors, are available to all ICMP students and provides advice, guidance and support to enable you to make the most of your creative and professional potential. Access to the team continues to be available to students after graduating, offering you invaluable support and continued access to the exclusive industry opportunities that come via ICMP.

ICMP's is connected to major record labels, publishers, promoters and management companies active in London and the wider music industry. This provides our students with exclusive opportunities and allows us to curate events throughout the year that ensure students are connected to the latest industry developments.

If you're a performer, it's worth noting the unparalleled access to facilities that  you'll get at ICMP for personal practice. We know that rehearsal space can be hard to find and often expensive. Unlike other music schools, at ICMP we make all of our facilities and equipment available to students free-of-charge for personal practice 7 days per week, outside of timetabled hours. Our facilities are also open from 8am –11pm on weekdays and 9am–5pm at the weekends, providing you ample time to take advantage.
