ICMP is delighted to announce a series of events to celebrate Black History Month.

These events aim to demonstrate our appreciation for the world of music within the Black community, those inspired by them and celebrate their wider contributions to the world in which we live.

This year, ICMP will host online Q&A sessions, a dedicated Songwriters’ Circle, live showcases and much more.

Joy-Princess Okoh and Monday Osarobo, respectively Student President and Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Student Officer, said: "In celebration of Black History Month at ICMP, we are showing our appreciation for black music and the influence it has had on world music. Paying homage to the pioneers who have helped shape the music we know and love today."

Black history month is a chance to appreciate those who have structured a pathway of equal movements and opportunities between all races and industries. We have organised a variety of activities for students and alumni to be a part of this celebratory month."
