We’re delighted to welcome a whole host of new tutors to ICMP for our 2018/19 academic year.

Our highly esteemed teaching faculty is made up of experienced musicians, accomplished academics, qualified teachers and respected industry practitioners.

Not only have many helped shape the face of the music business but they’re now ready to donate their time to help energise and inspire our students.

Our latest intake of tutors includes the likes of acclaimed jazz drummer Richard Spaven, top industry backing vocalist (and ICMP alumna) Izzy Chase, music producer Charlie Thomas, previously in-house engineer at Pink Floyd’s legendary Britannia Row Studios, experimental songwriter Isobel Anderson and the brilliant producer and arranger Leslie Gaston-Bird

Commenting on joining ICMP, Izzy Chase said:

I'm so excited to be joining the faculty at ICMP. Having previously graduated from the university as a BMus student it gives me a real insight into the potential of what can be achieved here."

"I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge, skills and experiences to help guide you all further into a life of performance in music."

Charlie Thomas said: "The next generation of music is here at ICMP. I’m excited to help them take on the industry.”

My education in music gave me the confidence and tenacity to put myself out there and pursue my dream job. I’m so excited to be a part of the team at ICMP and I can’t wait to help the next generation of musicians, producers and writers pursue their dream jobs too."
