This time we've chosen to shine a light on Blinding Lights, a cover by Luchi & Frances Neith, aka BA Songwriting student Lucia Carmignani and BMus Popular Music Performance student Francesca Guerra.
ICMP SPOTLIGHT: 5TH APRIL 2020
BLINDING LIGHTS, A COVER BY LUCHI & FRANCES NEITH.
Italian singer-songwriters and ICMP students Luchi and Frances Neith recently decided to work on a cover together, following a busy academic year spent collaborating on a variety of projects. Francesca previously did backing vocals for Luchi's solo project, while Lucia did the same for Francesca’s band Rogue Daze.

The song they decided to cover is 'Blinding Lights' by The Weeknd. After some planning and numerous video calls, it was decided that Luchi would take care of producing the track and putting together the video. The result is a colourful video that perfectly matches their fresh rendition of the hit.
"We think the video could make people laugh a little during this hard time and show a different and perhaps funny approach to the original song", the duo told us.
