Spotlight Tarantola

Our Careers and Industry team actively support and nurture all the musical talent to pass through ICMP and are responsible for selecting our weekly #ICMPSpotlight artist.

This week they've chosen to shine the spotlight on Tarantola, a band which includes current ICMP students as well as alumni.

Ladies and gentlemen, may we introduce you to Tarantola. Featuring current MA Songwriting student Mauro Lacandia together with alumni Bruno Pinto (Bmus Popular Music Performance), Nacho Stax and Edoardo Mariotti (BA Creative Musicianship).

After performing twice at Camp Bestival at the end of July, the band released their latest track, on 2nd August. 'Sciamune' is a perfect gypsy-folk-taranta declaration of unity, hope and diversity. Mauro, told us that:

Its aim is to openly invite everyone to become part of a global family, where people of any background are celebrated as equal."

'Sciamune'  was produced and engineered by Paul Stanborough, one of ICMP's Songwriting and Production tutors. The song is available on all digital platforms via The Sound of Everything UK.

Keep up to date with Tarantola on Facebook and Instagram.
