ICMP NAC bursaries

ICMP is delighted to announce the launch of new bursaries for their Non-Accredited Online Courses.

ICMP’s new initiative aims to offer eligible students a financial contribution to overcome specific barriers to accessing our tutor-led online courses.

Bursaries are available in different subject areas, including;

Songwriting: The Basics
Songwriting: The Creative Process
Songwriting: Content & Genre
Blues Rhythm Guitar
Blues Guitar Styles

The Short Course Bursaries offer full online course tuition fee waivers to successful applicants. Students can apply for any of the following start dates: July 14th and August 18th, 2020.

Eligibility 

To be eligible, applicants must be facing financial barriers preventing them from applying to ICMP and must fall under the ‘Home (UK) student’ status. Furthermore, they must not have any Higher Education experience.

In addition, they will also need to meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Care leavers and children-looked after
  • Mature (aged over 21)
  • Disabled (Physical impairment, Learning difference, Long-term health condition)
  • Black, Asian and Minority Ethnicities
  • Estranged (aged under 25 and who have no contact with parents)
  • Young Carer (aged under 25 and caring for a sick or disabled person)
  • Lower Socio-Economic Background

How to apply

Complete the application form to be considered for the bursaries. All applications need to be submitted by the deadline of 31st July 2020. 

Awardees will be selected by an ICMP panel on a priority-of-need basis. Applicants should expect to receive a response before the course start date.
