ICMP Course Ambassadors Nova Twins welcomed scholarship winner Gideon Armah to his new degree with a night of rock music at the O2 Arena.

The band were supporting Muse in London and invited Gideon, who will be studying ICMP's BA (Hons) Creative Musicianship, along to the gig as part of their guest list for the show.

Earlier in the day, Nova Twins - who are vocalist/guitarist Amy Love and bassist Georgia South - met with Gideon at the Bureau at London’s Design District to discuss his music, ambitions, and securing the scholarship for the three-year degree.

Gideon was sat with Nova Twins' family and friends (including Jordan Fish of Bring Me The Horizon) for the show supporting Muse at the O2 later that evening.

Commenting, Nova Twins said:

We’re super excited about the scholarship and meeting Gideon today - when we first heard his music, it was incredible, beautifully put together, it gave us the chills."

"The fact we have these scholarships available, it’s so important, nothing should limit creativity and what you need to do."

Gideon said: "I still don’t think this has sunken in or any of it is real - it’s an amazing opportunity and so unexpected. I’m really excited to continue my career here and I'm looking forward to get the opportunities to love and be a part of."

Ace, ICMP's Head of Industry Partnerships and Business Development, said:

Congratulations to Gideon on securing this opportunity to join us for the next three years. He’s an exceptional talent and I’m excited to see how he progresses with us."

"It’s also been an inspiring experience to work with the Nova Twins as BA Creative Musicianship Scholarship Ambassadors."

Congratulations to Gideon on this brilliant achievement.
