A group of first-year ICMP BMus students have come together virtually to put together a new video demonstrating their remote performance skills.

The students on the BMus Popular Music in Performance programme Oliver Williams, Dylan Youles, Daniel Smith, Iason Everitt, Will Poulton and James Okusanya all contributed to the video.

The performance was created as part of an assignment set during the a class on remote recording skills.

Jon Harris, BMus Drum Tutor and Module Leader, said: "The talents of my first year BMus students have really shone during the last year despite all of us working remotely amid the restrictions."

This video demonstrates their great skills in recording their own parts, video and then editing them with each player performing a certain number of bars with grooves and fills. It's a brilliant example of what we've been able to achieve by working together."
