As part of ICMP's drive for continual improvement we are delighted to announce the launch of a new VLE, called Canvas, and a new student online portal called My ICMP.
We are introducing these two new services following feedback from both staff and students. Whether it be in music production or songwriting, we're always striving to improve our student offering and we've invested in this new technology to enhance their experiences with us.
What is Canvas?
Canvas is an open, easy-to-use, cloud-native learning management system linked to the Canvas Network. The new system will enable students to improve how they manage their academic lives including reviewing their course information, submitting work, uploading videos, gaining feedback and checking progress.
Students can now access Canvas and an online tutorial at canvas.icmp.ac.uk or by using the Canvas app available on the App Store and Google Play. Students can use their old VLE username and password to access.
What is MyICMP?
MyICMP is our new online portal aimed at providing a space for students to access important resources, information support and guidance. Students will be able to use this from their mobile, giving them quick and easy access to key information and services. These include booking rehearsal space, equipment, accessing wellbeing support, industry opportunities and events.
Students can access MyIcmp at my.icmp.ac.uk using their ICMP email and password.
