As part of the Higher Diploma assessment, all students must complete a 'Band Rehearsal and Performance' module, where they must perform as part of an ensemble at a venue around London. This year, our Higher Diploma students have chosen a variety of venues around London including 93 Feet East on Brick Lane and Lock 17 in Camden with between three and four bands performing each night.

The first of these evenings was at 93 Feet East on Brick Lane in Shoreditch on Tuesday (31st of May) , where four bands performed  their own version of some of the world's most recognisable pop, soul, funk and jazz songs. The bands included ICMP acts Sunny Monday, Slick, Funkarees with the Magic Jerks headlining the evening.

The second of these evenings was held on Wednesday (1st of June) at the Lock 17 bar and venue in Camden, with four bands performing funk, soul and jazz covers by artists from Shirley Bassey to Maroon 5. The bands playing on the night were Montague, Ono, River Crows and Nugs.

You can still catch two more events run by our Higher Diploma students over the next few days. Firstly, there are performances tonight (3rd of June) at the Earl of Derby on Kilburn High Road, and the final night of performances are at The Good Ship on Kilburn High Road on Wednesday (8th of June).
