"Hi, I'm Grace and I'm on the BA (Hons) Music Business & Entrepreneurship course here at ICMP.

I chose ICMP because I was kind of working as a musician, singer songwriter, and I felt a bit lost in terms of the business aspect.

I felt like I didn't have the knowledge to back it up. So I was just looking for music business courses and I came across ICMP. I feel like I know have more of a vision of where I want to take my music, whereas before I was kind of just felt a little bit out of my depth.

Even on the business course, a lot of people are musicians. You get to know everyone on the other courses as well. So my band now is built up mainly of people from here.

I've made connections with the tutors as well, like put on shows with them and it's been really cool.

I think everyone is super supportive. I mean, when you go to other schools, you obviously come across musicians as well, but because everyone is in the same boat trying to do the same thing, everyone knows to support each other and show up to each other's shows and share.

It's amazing having tutors that have worked in the industry and are still working in the industry, but the music industry is constantly changing, so everyone just knows what's going on right now and can introduce you to people as well.

I've had meetings with tutors where they've given me advice and then pushed me to someone that they know and it's just been really great in terms of networking as well.

So as a music business student, you can still use all the rehearsal rooms, which has been a lifesaver for me because I was breaking my bank on rehearsal spaces and they're all equipped and it's amazing that you can just book and show up and use the space.

The London music scene is so exciting. I mean, basically everyone is creative, I feel like, in some way. So it's great. There's always gigs all throughout the week and I think it's just the most exciting place to be as a musician, for sure."
