We're delighted to be bringing back our 'How To Research' series for 2021, these workshops are perfect for dissertation students, while open to everyone.  In the third workshop of the series, music therapist, Marianne Rizkallah will be discussing how to research music education.

"I've been through the research process as a Guildhall MA student, I've got first-hand workplace experience of music therapy research and service evaluation for both the NHS and the private sector, and have just been appointed the Vice Chair of the British Association for Music Therapy so have got the latest knowledge on Music Therapy developments in the UK!"

During the Zoom meeting, you'll be able to ask questions via the chat bar. All How To Research sessions will be recorded and available 24 hours after each event.

About Marianne
Marianne Rizkallah is the Director of North London Music Therapy and Music Therapy Outreach and Enterprise Tutor for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Marianne qualified as a music therapist from the Guildhall in 2013.

As a music therapist, Marianne has worked with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly, working with clinical groups including mental health, SEBD, psychosis, autism and dementia. She has worked in the NHS, the education sector (including work in a PRU), the third sector and in private practice. Marianne specialises in setting up new work and in-service evaluation.

Marianne also works as a professional singer and vocal coach. She plays flute, piano, ukulele, and drums.
