Our online music course options are a great opportunity for those with busy lives who can’t commit to a full-time course but still interested in exploring music in their own time, either through distance learning, studying in the evenings or weekends, or maybe during a gap year break from traditional music study.
Weekly private video feedback
Throughout our online music courses you will be guided through the material by an ICMP industry expert in weekly video lessons; on top of this expect weekly private video feedback and unlimited 121 lesson time during your course. And of course, whilst the course is six weeks in duration, you retain access to the content so can review whenever you need!
ICMP London music academy has been delivering music education to students for over 30 years – longer than any other UK contemporary music school – and includes notable alumni music industry success stories including singer-songwriter Foxes, Luke Patterson from Clean Bandit, Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien, songwriter Cathy Dennis, folk-pop band Daughter, and One Direction bassist, Sandy Beales.

Study at your own pace
ICMP’s online music courses allow you to expand your musical knowledge at a time and pace which suits your existing commitments, whether that includes work, travel, family life or more. Our flexible approach is suited to those looking to study during periods which may differ from the traditional times contemporary music classes are available, such as in the evenings or at weekends. Our online delivery system is great for anyone wishing to undertake distance learning, and you’ll have the option to repeat any lessons or access your course materials at a later date too.
Learn from the best
ICMP’s online music courses are taught and supported by the same highly esteemed tutors who teach our full-time courses. They’re all experienced musicians who’ve shaped the face of the music business across their careers, and are ready to inspire, energise and pass their extensive knowledge of the music industry onto you. They’ll work hard to support and encourage you throughout your online learning journey, and if you decide to visit ICMP to take part in our live music workshops, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn from them in person, gaining important feedback and advice along the way.
