Congratulations to artist and producer Ines Thomas who is the latest recipient of the ICMP/AIM Music Business Scholarship

The initiative is presented in collaboration with the Association of Independent Music (AIM) and has been created for those who are passionate and driven, with a keen interest in music business, but who might not normally be in a position to consider Higher Education as part of their career development.

Ines (pictured above in the studio with her engineer) will be given the opportunity to study free-of-charge on our one-year Cert HE Music Business and Entrepreneurship course

Commenting on receiving the award, Ines said: "I applied for the ICMP scholarship because I wanted to try something new!

"I have always been taught to work hard for everything you want in life and one day your work will pay off and others will see it! By being accepted for this scholarship it really has given me more courage!"

This scholarship is important as I hope to develop my knowledge and skills more for my craft. I want to also learn about music industry marketing and business and meet new people with a strong passion like me."

The course provides students with a brilliant opportunity to get to grips with core areas of the music business including marketing, PR, copyright, revenue streams, music royalties and more.

Ines has been busy with various projects including producing a remix of her track ‘Let’s Be Honest’, working on a video as well as a new project expected in the coming months.
