Jenny has been a member and fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2009. She pursued a career in accounting straight after finishing her A-levels and started her studies with evening school completing her AAT.

Once qualified, Jenny fittingly began her career in the education sector, working first at London South Bank University and then the London Business School. Then she delved into finance roles across a wide range of industries, including both insurance and banking, with a long tenure at Cyprus’s largest banking and financial services group, the Bank of Cyprus. In this sector, she gained a wealth of experience, including knowledge of the protocols and processes integral to a large organisation.

Jenny’s first senior role was at London media access company Independent Media Support. As Head of Finance in Media, she connected with the organisation’s goal of ensuring equal access to television and film for those hard of hearing or with sight issues through subtitling, closed captioning, audio description and voiceover services in any language, for any platform.

This role helped cement Jenny’s love of working with small and medium-sized enterprises. She especially enjoys assisting with the transition from small or family-run legacy business, into a larger, more regulated and successful one, and working with organisations that give back to their community.

Jenny and her husband, a geography teacher, artist and art conservationist, have two small children. A born traveller, she divides time with her family between the UK and Italy and tries to incorporate both British and Italian culture, language and education into the household.

Jenny has practised yoga for around 15 years and has completed an ashtanga teacher training course. She’s also a keen runner, with a marathon next on her agenda.
