Our renowned Songwriters' Circle offers you an exclusive opportunity to hear stripped-back songs, performed by the writers themselves along with insight into their processes and the songs themselves. This series of events showcase new material from some of the most talented, up and coming songwriting students in the UK.

Open to all ICMP students, the Songwriters' Circle attracts musicians, music lovers and industry alike. You won't find a more unique, welcoming and intimate event whilst studying with us at ICMP.

This month's Songwriters' Circle will be celebrating the end of the undergraduate academic year with special guest Richard Fairlie and host Luke Toms.

About our special guest:

As a BA Songwriting student, Richard’s talents shone via his stunning voice and brilliant songwriting skills. Releasing ‘Give Me Your Love’ and ‘Torn’ while still with us, he managed to simultaneously complete his studies and build a devoted fanbase online, leading to Richard signing a deal with Columbia, Sony, at the end of 2019.

The first single to be released via the major label, ‘Fonda On the Roof’, has so far been added to Spotify's New Music Friday Deutschland and Frühlings Chillout as well as Filtr. Chill & Relax playlist too. He's racked-up over 8 million Spotify streams in total, a number which continues to rapidly grow. Last September, Richard also supported Becky Hill on her UK tour.
