Andrew Scheps is a mix engineer, recording engineer, producer, and record label owner based in Los Angeles and the United Kingdom. He received Grammy Awards for "Best Rock Album" for his work on Red Hot Chili PeppersStadium Arcadium, "Album Of The Year" for Adele'21, and also "Best Reggae Album" for Ziggy Marley's Fly Rasta.

Despite starting out as a musician, Andrew found that what he enjoyed most was working behind the scenes. He toured with Stevie Wonder, as a keyboard tech and Michael Jackson, as his live sound engineer, but he eventually found his home in the studio, and honed his craft working for producers such as Rob Cavallo, Don Was and Rick Rubin. Alongside his recording work, Andrew has also taken on a producer role with bands such as Favez, Gogol Bordello, The Duke Spirit, Low Roar and others.

Commenting on the masterclass, Andrew said:

I’ll be talking about my experiences with many of the best in the business as well as giving an introduction to my studio techniques including how I use parallel compression when mixing. The session will also involve a Q&A so please bring any burning music industry questions along.
