Get to know Ableton’s powerful Push tool in detail and enhance your music production skills on our six-week part-time Ableton Push course.
Held on campus at ICMP London, the course offers an in-depth understanding of Ableton’s Push instrument and how it can dramatically enhance your work. Over the six two-hour evening sessions you’ll work with Ableton-certified trainer and music producer Marcello Ruggiu, learning everything you need to know to transform your musical ideas into fully realised tracks.
You’ll cover the essentials of track production – from recording loops, editing samples and step sequencing automation to finger drumming and working in drum rack and melodic instrument views.
This course is recommended for those who have previously attended our Ableton Live part-time course. It ensures you continue building your Ableton skills and challenges you to make the most of this technology to produce tracks of professional quality.
Meet our Ableton-certified trainer
London-based Marcello Ruggiu is an experienced sound engineer and music producer – he’s also one of ICMP’s exceptional tutors in Music Production. Since the age of 16, he’s been making electronic music with his Yahama sequencer, drum kit and computer. He produces his own sounds under the name Amousement and his impressive CV includes live music, television and studio recordings. Marcello’s recent publication of an Ableton guidebook sharing a host of tips and tricks for using the popular software evidences his expertise, built over ten years as a fully qualified Ableton-certified trainer.
