ICMP’s Careers and Industry Hub has launched its new What’s Next? podcast aimed at exploring the various career paths open to students after graduation.

This podcast features interviews with ICMP alumni talking about life after studying and how they started building their careers within music, the creative industries and beyond.

Hosted by ICMP’s Graduate Outcomes Assistant (and Masters in Songwriting graduate) Jordan Olukanmi, each monthly episode explores how ICMP graduates found their current jobs.

The first episode features ICMP BA Songwriting alumna Diana Mukwaya sharing her experiences in the music industry.

Commenting, Jordan said:

I wanted to create a podcast which helped highlight the different ways students and alumni can use the transferable skills they developed during their study to build portfolio careers across a wide range of roles and industries."

"It’s been so inspiring to hear so many different stories from across the ICMP community!"

Diana recently won the Lyricist Award at the Youth Music Awards 2022.

She records and releases music as artist Namugga and won the prize for her track 'Started Off As'

The first episode with Diana is now available and you can listen via Spotify.
