Masters students come together to network at London’s Bureau

ICMP Masters students were invited to take part in a networking event at the Bureau in London’s Design District to forge new connections and collaborations. 

Students from across our four postgraduate cohorts were invited to attend the event to discuss their work, courses and experiences with peers and ICMP tutors. 

Yannis Iliopoulos, Senior Programmes Manager, MA Music Business, said: "We came together over the Masters programmes to celebrate what we teach in the classroom to exchange knowledge and to empower students to collaborate and network."

It's been a great chance for students to combine the learning opportunities at ICMP with real life experience of getting together with others and start work on real life projects."

Lia Mice, MA Music Production Programme Leader, said: "Cross collaboration across the Masters programmes is really important as that’s how the industry works. It’s not these individual areas - it’s more blended and when they cross pollinate, that’s when the real creative beauty comes out."  

Myriam Schroder, Masters in Songwriting student, said: "This has been a really interesting experience as you hear so many people with different strengths, backgrounds and stories, talent - it’s so nice to come together like this."

ICMP and the Bureau

ICMP enjoys an ongoing partnership with the Bureau with students having the opportunity to apply to the Ace Accelerator @Bureau initiative. 

The latest winners - alumni Paolo Tuveri and Finn Doherty - are working from the space in the Design District and drawing on the expertise and networks the opportunity provides to develop their business.
