Lauren Moore graduated with a 1st class degree from our BA in Music Business and Entrepreneurship and has put what she's learned in our classrooms to great use by winning a role for BBC Radio Cymru.

She landed the post as a presenter after recording a pilot show for Radio Cymru back in November 2020.

The pilot happened following Lauren's application for a different position and she was asked to return to the station to host the 6-8 drive time show.

Commenting on the job, Lauren said:

Growing up, my dad presented on many different stations including Red Dragon FM, Real Radio and covering on Radio Wales. I spent a lot of my childhood in radio stations and going to events with the station and always found the world of absolutely fascinating."

Alongside this role, Lauren has also undertaken freelance work for BBC Cymru Fyw helping to produce and post social media promotion for a handful of new Welsh podcasts on BBC Sounds.

She has also been interviewed on Welsh TV and radio and been a guest on a mental health and wellbeing podcast.

You can keep up with Lauren's work via her Twitter and Instagram profiles.
