Congratulations to Roxanne Bento on winning the latest 2022 MPG/ICMP Scholarship.
The initiative has been developed in collaboration with our industry partners at the Music Producers Guild (MPG) in association with the PRS Foundation to provide an opportunity for anyone passionate about music production but who might be unable to consider studying as part of their career.
By winning the award, Roxanne will have the chance to study on ICMP’s one-year Cert HE Creative Music Production course.
Commenting, Roxanne said: "I am thankful to receive this scholarship as it has allowed me to study at ICMP which has state-of-the-art equipment, hosts many events which are great opportunities to meet new people, and collaborate with them on exciting projects.”

To enter, Roxanne had to submit a form and include a link to an originally produced track and a one to two-minute video describing why she had the skills and ideas to enter music production. All applications were judged by a panel including ICMP staff and tutors.
The course will see Roxanne and her fellow students use the latest industry-standard equipment and computer software including ICMP’s brand-new Mac Labs, state-of-the-art studios and dedicated music production teaching spaces.
Roxanne follows in the footsteps of previous winner Rookes, who has recently released their debut album.
