ICMP is delighted to enjoy an ongoing partnership with leading gear manufacturer Austrian Audio.
Over the last 18 months, ICMP students have been able to benefit from utilising Austrian Audio microphones and headphones across our Kilburn and Queen Park campuses including using a dedicated Austrian Audio room.
Austrian Audio’s OC18 mics have been available in our studios for the last few months with the new OC16 now to be introduced by our Facilities team.
Hi-X55 headphones are also available while OD303 microphones can be used in studios for vocal sessions.
At the end of last year, Mel Uye-Parker (pictured above on the right), who was ICMP's Programme Leader for our MA Creative Music Production, was sponsored by Austrian Audio with OC16 microphones to take a trip across Africa making field recordings of musicians.

The partnership has expanded into other opportunities. Austrian Audio sponsor our student Outstanding Achievement awards at ICMP's annual Awards Ceremony with gold discs and students awarded HiX 25BT headphones.
Austrian Audio also sponsored Ace's Skunk Anansie tour of Europe last year providing OC 18s and CC8 pencil microphones for the live on stage set up at an array of live performances including the Glastonbury Festival.
These microphones were then donated to the ICMP's Queens Park venue on the return of the tour.
