ICMP tutor Erika Footman has organised an all-female online Songwriters' event to raise money for Refuge Against Domestic Violence on Sunday 26th April.

The line-up features Erika, Rebecca Phillips and ICMP alumna Natalie Lindi and will be hosted via new artist platform, the Floor

Commenting on the event, Erika said:

I wanted to raise money for Refuge during this period of self-isolation when so many people (the majority of whom are women) are stuck inside with partners who take out their anger on them, whether that be physical or emotional."

"This event should prove to be a great evening of music and all done in time to clap for the NHS and key workers."

Anyone wanting to watch the performances will be able to able to subscribe to Erika's channel for £2.50.

Alternatively, the first 15 minutes will be free. After this time is up,  there will be a £5 charge to continue watching the rest of the online event.

There will be a tip button where people donate money to charity during the event.
