The brilliant talent of Bruno Major was a star attraction when he played ICMP’s intimate Songwriters’ Circle event in November.

Bruno has been one of the UK’s biggest success stories over the last 18 months, with his debut album, ‘A Song For Every Month’, proving to be a huge hit with music lovers around the world.

He wrote and released a new song every month during 2017. It was these tracks that went on to make up his debut LP.

Bruno joined ICMP students and alumni in performing our Songwriters’ Circle at FEST in Camden following a string of dates in the Far East and ahead of a sold out show at Koko.

Commenting on the appeal of playing an event like Songwriters’ Circle, Bruno said:

For me I was a music student at a college like this. I found it really inspiring to hear and watch people from the music industry come in and share their experiences. I’m honoured to be that guy."

He was joined by tutor Leddra Chapman, alumni Josh Vine and students including Sully Gravity and Natalie Lindi.

Natalie said:

I was so excited to play alongside Bruno Major and the ICMP students and alumni. I love his style and jazz influences and it was great to get the chance to perform in front of him."
