We’re honoured to be welcoming legendary singer-songwriter Frank Turner to our Songwriters’ Circle.
Taking place at Proud Camden on 12th February, the event will offer attendees the chance to catch Frank performing and talking about his music in an intimate setting.
As with all of our Songwriters' Circle events, support will come from our current students and alumni. This event will also see current students Truly Ford, Diana Mukwaya and Rebekah Bossard perform. Having the opportunity to gain experience performing alongside high-profile artists like Frank s just one of the many exclusive opportunities open to our students and alumni.
The event comes ahead of a big year for Frank who has just announced details of his new album, ‘Be More Kind’, due for release on 4th May, alongside a huge tour.
Frank is much loved for his passionate musical strain of acoustic punk so we’re immensely pleased he’s found time in his schedule to perform with us at our event.
The night is free to all ICMP students and alumni while non-ICMP student card holders can buy tickets for £10.
*PLEASE NOTE TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD OUT FOR THIS EVENT*
Listen to Frank’s latest release from his new album, ‘1933’.
Our Songwriters’ Circle events have seen many acclaimed songwriters perform and talk about their music. Previous guests have included Ed Harcourt, ICMP graduate Elena Tonra from internationally-acclaimed act Daughter and most recently, acoustic duo, The Dunwells. They also provide great networking opportunities for our students with our songwriting student Richard Fairlie invited to support The Dunwells at their forthcoming gig at London Fields Brewery on 28th February.
