Maeve is a Caymanian/Irish songwriter and producer living in London and an alumna of our BA Songwriting programme

She grew up surrounded by music, picked up a guitar as a teenager and has never looked back, writing and creating songs ever since.

Having released a number of tracks and EPs, defined by an eclectic approach to genre and sonic style, she’s picked up support from the PRS Foundation who chose her as one of the recipients of the Momentum Music Fund.

The backing of the fund has allowed her to work with a booking agent and expand ambitions surrounding her PR and marketing.

Speaking in a past interview with ICMP about her time with us, Maeve said: "I was just getting out of school and I knew I wanted to pursue music and I was really hungry to learn and to be totally surrounded by people who were into it as well."

All the practical stuff at ICMP was great. The production side was really helpful for me because it gave me a greater technical base to build off of and allowed me to explore. Now production is a crucial part in my songwriting process."

Her music has since picked up millions of streams on Spotify and she recently supported Scotland's Young Fathers at the iconic Somerset House as part of the venue’s Summer Series of live gigs. You can also see the other ICMP stars who have reached one million streams
