Honey Lung, featuring Omri Covo (BMus Alumnus) on Drums, are an alternative rock band signed to RYP Recordings, with nods to artists such as Sparklehorse, Elliott Smith, Smashing Pumpkins and Wilco. 

Among numerous notable performance in 2017, the band played Reading and Leeds Festival, The Great Escape Festival, When In Manchester Festival and NH7 Festival in Pune, India.  They also joined Citizen for a sold out UK & Europe tour. There blistering live performances gained the band many positive reviews, including from the likes of BBC Introducing and blog Bittersweet Symphonies.

They released their debut EP 'Kind of Alone' in 2016, and their single 'Sophomore' (released 2017) was premiered by Gigwise, and received many positive reviews and wide airplay on radio, including Huw Stephen’s BBC Radio 1 show. 2018 was another busy year for Honey Lung, among the many shows they've played they toured with Moose Blood  in March, played at The Great Escape Festival in May and rounded the year off at London's Lexington in December.

2019 continued to see the band build their fanbase. In March, they headed to Austin, Texas for a series of shows at the mighty SXSW festival and over the summer they'll play at The SSE Arena, Wembley, at the FACEITCS:GO ECS World Finals. The band also performed at many summer festivals, including Electric Fields in Glasgow and Wilkestock Music Festival in Hertfordshire.

Their EP 'Post Modern Motorcade Music' - out via the Big Scary Monsters label - was released at the end of May 2020, followed by much acclaim.

The five tracks cover themes surrounding the hardships and responsibilities of being an adult, and the relationships you have with friends and loved ones.
