Luke Toms, Deputy Programme Leader for ICMP’s BA in Creative Musicianship and our MA Songwriting graduate, will release a single every Friday during the first semester of 2019.

Originally from Cornwall and a self-proclaimed ‘philanthropist, dandy and songwriter’, Luke is an artist, producer and composer with over a decade of experience in the music industry.

His career to date has seen him tour with The Feeling and Mika, land a deal with Island Records and hear his music used across numerous films and TV programmes.

The Guardian profiled Luke saying:

His wry musings on love and romance are enhanced by jazzy flourishes and baroque'n'roll echoes of the pomp rock of ELO, Supertramp and Queen."

According to Luke, he plans to release music on every Friday of the current semester:

The first single is 'Merseyside Girl', and is glam, doo-wop romp of a love song.”

Follow him on Spotify to stay updated with his new music.

If you're in London, then you can catch Luke performing his live at The Harrison Pub in King's Cross on Wednesday 23rd January.
