The ICMP Spotlight aims to support as many students and alumni as possible in their personal careers within the music industry.

Whether you're working on a musical, have joined a cover band, started out as a booking agent/artist manager/music journalist/etc, we want to know all about it and support you with any possible means.

Each month we present a student or graduate music project, making it our #ICMPSpotlight.

Rattle • A Music Led Event Company by Students, for Students
by BMus Popular Music Performance student Rosie O'Neil

Rattle is a directory for musicians by musicians that specialises in connecting creatives and showcasing them through a range of live shows and events. The next phase of this exciting undertaking will see the development of an app, making it easier for members to interact and develop relationships with live music venues in London and especially around ICMP to host regular music nights for students and alumni.

Rattle’s first event will be taking place on the 6th of April at the Half Moon in Putney called ‘An Evening with Friends’. In hope of this being a regular event, the first in this series aims to showcase artists and their upcoming music in an informal and friendly environment where other musicians can connect with industry professionals in attendance.

This evening with friends is unique in the fact that the main band will stay on stage the whole night; with the artists also being in the band and we all swap roles and collaborate to bring our music to life, collectively.
