Here at ICMP we are proud to support our students and alumni and always look forward to sharing their successes.
Every Tuesday we source the best new releases from our community and make them #ICMPSpotlight of the week.
This week we've chosen to shine a light on The Kanz, alternative rock band which features ICMP Cert HE Creative Music Production student, Fabio Nania.
ICMP SPOTLIGHT: 15TH OCTOBER
'LIFE STREAMING PAST' BY THE KANZ
Ops, they did it again: The Kanz just released another piece of fine alternative rock, 'Life Streaming Past'.
Compared to the previous repertoire, this track surprisingly has a more romantic and ballad-like sound. The band told us that:
Life Streaming Past is a quest for love and happiness, definitely a dreamier and more intimate composition. It's the ideal song to kiss your loved one(s) during a concert!
The release has soon been followed by a music video, produced by Rafael, The Kanz's drummer, and it sees the lead singer and ICMP Music Production student Fabio Nania playing his guitar in a park while being photographed by a mysterious cyberpunk-looking lady. The straight-forward storyline helps to remind us of how love can be found in weird places.
Spoiler: a turtle is also starring in the video. Check it out below.
The Kanz will be playing Uni Sound Music Festival at The Underbelly on 19th October. Keep up to date with the band on Facebook and Instagram to find out more.
Listen to our Spotlight 2019 Spotify playlist, including 'Life Streaming Past' and more releases by ICMP students/alumni.
