ICMP talents including tutor Polly Mackey and alumnus Matt Maltese are among the musicians and artists who have created unique prints for the Save Our Venues artwork initiative.
Organised by Orlando Weeks, previously from indie band the Maccabees, the project gathers together illustrations from over 140 contributors more known for their music.
Alongside Polly Mackey (know as Art School Girlfriend) and Matt Maltese, other artists including IDLEs, Bill Ryder-Jones and The Japanese House all contributed to the project.
Orlando Weeks used the artwork for his album 'A Quickening' as the basis for the venture.
Commenting, Orlando said: “Everyone involved recognises how crucial UK venues of every shape and size are! They are where we go to commune and celebrate and sing and spill drinks together.
These cards are a small gesture of thanks for the pleasure and opportunity that venues and their staff, up and down the country, have given so many of us.”
The sale started today. Visit Orlando’s website to find out more.
