The latest ICMP students and alumni to receive support via our Accelerator Fund have been announced.

With projects ranging from music videos to stage sets, the initiative aims to help students and alumni take their projects and music careers forward.

Successful applicants are those able to demonstrate how a specific element of their professional development requires a small amount of funding and is part of a wider, more significant plan linked to long-term career growth.

Psych-pop trio Fire In Her Eyes were one of the latest ICMP artists to receive support from the initiative.

Gabrielle Gordon from the band said:

"We are using the support to produce our fourth single (called 'Out Of Touch'). We haven’t had many opportunities to record our songs in a proper studio so having this fund will enables us to explore this avenue and hopefully evolve our sound.

This support has been extremely helpful in allowing us to have access to a professional studio in order to make sure our new music is recorded and produced as well as it can be."

Cristy Taviner, Music Business Student, has also won support to help her SJC Promotions company.

"I applied twice for support - initially to help me develop my skills with graphic design, then with hosting our gigs. I could then make artwork for the events we do under SJC Promotions, saving us time and money."
