Jasmine Hodge, Head of PR at the Music Federation, is the latest top music industry professional to appear as a guest on ICMP’s Sounds Like These podcast. 

Hosted by Lara Magnelli from ICMP’s Marketing Team, the series features different guests discussing their careers and offering insight and advice to those looking to pursue roles in the music industry. 

Jasmine has spent five years working in the music industry as a press manager and journalist.

She recently launched Fangrrl PR, a new music promotions and PR company.

The business offers PR services across music releases, live/tour promotion, festival promotion, brand promotion and B2B press.

Commenting, Lara said: 

Jasmine is only 24 years old but has managed to gain a lot of experience in the PR field and has worked with amazing bands, while also fighting for a fairer and more inclusive music industry."

In the interview, Jasmine discusses the launch of her new business as well as her role with the Music Federation.

She also provides advice for female artists and music professionals on how to cut through the noise in a male dominated world, how to find the strength, how to feel confident and not give up.
