ICMP’s BA Songwriting student Sha Supangan, aka @crazylittleasian, was named among the winners of the London Music Conference’s (LMC) Accelerator Program.

Her track ‘Hold Me Back’, written with producers Wiseboy and IAMCAW, was selected as second among five winners.

Commenting on her win, Sha said:

It was a great experience. I was able to perform my DJ + live vocals set over at the iconic Fabric in London thanks to this."

"I'm also the only female on the list. I hope there'll be more next time. as well."

According to LMC organisers, the initiative aims to showcase music from some of “the hottest electronic music artists on the planet”.

The LMC Accelerator enables artists to engage with top A&R professionals, play shows, build relationships with brands and secure and confirm releases on a hand picked selection of partnered labels.

Previously, Sha was selected to perform for the Duchess of Cornwall on a recent visit to Brent as part of her engagement with the 2020 London Borough of Culture.
