APRE | ICMP Spotlight

Our music careers and industry liaison team, The Hub, actively support and nurture all the musical talent that pass through ICMP and are responsible for selecting our weekly #ICMPSpotlight artist. This week they've chosen to shine the spotlight on hotly tipped indie duo APRE.

APRE feature the talents of BA Creative Musicianship  alumni Charlie Brown and  Jules Konieczny - the pair have enjoyed an exciting couple of weeks following the release of their brilliant debut single 'All Yours'.

Taken from their first EP, the 'Movement of Time', the track was debuted via DIY magazine, selected by Clash Magazine as their Track of the Day and even received a play by BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac. As DIY said, it's 'frighteningly composed and confident for a band’s first step - harks back to the fiddly, jumpy rhythms of 2000s-indie heroes Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club, but without feeling recycled.'

With recent sets at The Great Escape, Live at Leeds as well as performances at nights run by BBC Music Introducing, the pair will be taking their confident indie sound to the Barn on the Farm and RiZE Festivals over the coming months.

Look out for much more from these great talents and visit apremusic.com for more information.
