ICMP is delighted to partner with Soundsnap, a professional online sound and stock music library.

The company was founded in 2007 and was the first ever subscription-based sound effects libraries in the world.

According to the business, the site is used by professional filmmakers, app designers, and hobbyists alike, with a huge catalogue of over 460,000 professionally recorded or designed effects and music loops.

Partnering with the company will provide ICMP students access to Soundsnap accounts and this array of sounds.

Ace, ICMP's Head of Industry Partnerships and Business Development, said:

It's really fantastic to be involved with such a major player in the professional world of sound effects libraries to benefit a crucial part of the students studies and ultimately their professional careers."

Soundsnap's library of sounds are contributed by and licensed from over 100 handpicked recordists and sound designers, some of whom have worked on films and programs such as 'Tenet' and 'The Revenant'

Both Soundsnap's music and sound effects are completely royalty free and can be synced in any kind of media in perpetuity, so are an ideal tool for students who are just getting started within the world of content creation.
