ICMP will be celebrating LGBTQIA+ History Month this February with a new content hub including a dedicated playlist.

This collaborative Spotify playlist will feature a vast array of music from LGBTQIA+ artists and we are looking for our community of students, alumni and staff to contribute to our selection.

So far, the list includes fantastic tracks from the likes of Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Planningtorock, Halsey, ICMP alumna Foxgluvv and many, many more.

Commenting, ICMP's Jonathan Whiskerd said:

"It’s so important for the stories of the LGBTQIA+ community to be told which is why this month-long celebration is such an important date in the calendar."

Music and songs make up a powerful part of this history, what we remember and how futures for LGBTQIA+ groups will be shaped too. With this in mind, we’d love the ICMP community to come together to help contribute to our special playlist."

LGBTQIA+ History Month was launched to recognise and celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual trans, and non-binary history, including the history of LGBT+ rights and related civil rights movements.

Submit your track selections via the ICMP website here, with a note to say it is for the LGBTQIA+ playlist.
