ICMP is to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with a series of carefully curated online events.

Running throughout the month, events will include a Songwriters’ Circle with rising pop talent Emily Burns to a masterclass with trans icon Mykki Blanco. 

Other dates in the diary for February 2021 include open mic sessions, queer networking events and an LGBTQ+ Trivia Night hosted by drag queen Spice.

Friday 12th February | LGBTQ+ Trivia Night 

Drag queen Spice will be hosting a quiz night with a fun bingo twist and treating us to some brilliant performances! Put your thinking hats on, the winner will walk away with a £50 gift card of their choice. 

Monday 15th February | Songwriters’ Circle with Emily Burns

Contemporary singer songwriter sensation Emily Burns will discuss her way into the music industry and essential advice for anyone wanting to follow in her footsteps.

The brilliant artist, musician and political activist Mykki Blanco will be discussing their career and taking questions from the student audience.

Friday 24th February | Queer & A Panel 

ICMP’s Caitlin Murphy-Page will host a Q&A with former ICMP student and artist Joshua 'Satch' Satchell, current ICMP student Lauren Hood and Dr. Elesha Vooght, a sexual wellness doctor at Kandid. The panel will be discussing all things LGBTQ+.
