Ace, ICMP's Head of Industry Partnerships and Business Development, visited our new Italian partner school Music Avanguardia for a weekend of collaboration and performance.
The visit took place as part of ICMP’s international outreach and partner school relationship program and saw Ace travel to the school in Rivoli, Turin to Music Avanguardia.
Commenting, Ace said:
It’s always a real pleasure to visit our partner schools, and my trip to Music Avanguardia was another brilliant experience. It’s always very inspiring to get to meet and collaborate with the next generation of music makers and performers, and this was no exception."
As part of the visit, Ace worked with students on a series of live performance workshops.
Later that day, the school hosted a live gig where students had the opportunity to perform songs from Skunk Anansie’s back catalogue alongside Ace.
Our IKMultimedia competition recent winner Valentina was there too as the main bass player at the gig.
The next step in the partnership will see Music Avanguardia students and tutors welcomed to ICMP as part of the London Music Weekend in April.
Other Italian partner schools will also be joining the weekend.
