If you want to be professional, you need access to professional equipment.
You need to have the right tools for the job, and it's equally important that there is a wide range available to you whilst you're studying and exploring your sound.
ICMP is continually investing in the best instruments and backline equipment to make these available to students studying music with us. We have huge selection of instruments and equipment available for use on campus as part of lessons or for personal practice - all available free of charge.
Amps and Drum kits
We have access to amps by Fender, Vox, Marshall, Laney, Orange, Blackstar, Victory, Mesa Boogie, Roland, AER and Peavey, while bassists can enjoy gear by Aguilar, MarkBass, Ampeg, EBS, Hartke and Ashdown while drummers will play kits and cymbals by Mapex, Tama, DW, Zildjan, Paiste and Sabian. Songwriters and producers have writing rooms and studios, but all musicians can hire instruments by Fender, Yamaha, MusicMan, Washburn and Peerless.
We also hold a huge range of peripherals including nylon string guitars, steel-string guitars (PRS, Taylor, Music Man, Fender, Squire), mandolins, banjos, dobros, keyboards (Roland, M Audio, Yamaha), controllers (Abelton) loop stations, vocal processors and effects pedals (Line 6, Boss, TC, Electro Harmonix, Jim Dunlop, Laney), MacBook Pro and Zoom mobile recording rigs, electric upright basses, double bass drum pedals (DW, Mapex, Tama), microphones (Austrian Audio, Aston, Shure, Rode, Sontronics, AKG) PA (HH, Yamaha, Samson, Peavey), congas, bongos and a wide range of percussion instruments.

We believe that while you're studying with us you should have sufficient access to the equipment you require to make the most of the opportunities that come your way. With that in mind, we also make a selection of equipment (amps, PA's drumkits, etc) available to our students for off-site use (gigs, festivals, external recording). This equipment is available to ICMP students for a small fee and deposit, a fraction of the commercial cost they would otherwise encounter.
