Over London there is a selection of amazing venues hosting LGBTQIA+ events and spaces specifically for the queer community.

As a part of our hub celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, we have created our favourite places over London to go to for queer events and music evenings.

COLOUR FACTORY | HOXTON

Colour factory is a live music venue, food court and multi-functional events space and nightclub in the heart of Hackney Wick. They advocate cultural diversity and offer an all-inclusive environment in which everybody is welcome. They regularly put on evenings for the queer community and provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ artists to tell their stories through all creative mediums.

GEORGE AND DRAGON | DEPTFORD BRIDGE 

The George & Dragon is a late-night bar in the traditional British pub style, offering a variety of the best drag cabaret at weekends and on special occasions. 

During the week, they’re open until 2am for a late-night tipple and a game of pool, and whatever night you choose to visit, you can be sure of a friendly welcome. 

Watch our for amazing performances by the Queen of the George, none other than “The Duchess”.

DALSTON SUPERSTORE | DALSTON KINGSLAND

Dalston superstore is a thriving music venue in Dalston that has been providing a space for a range of queer events since 2009. From cabaret evenings, café, community space and live music the Dalston superstore is ‘East London’s premiere queer pleasure palace’.

KARAOKE HOLE  | DALSTON KINGSLAND

The little sister of Dalston Superstore is a located just below Voodoo Ray’s and is a underground drag bar and glitzy karaoke space.

Open every Friday and Saturday night from 7pm- they also have a range of different events weekly so make sure to check them out.

ROYAL VAUXHALL TAVERN | VAUXHALL

This iconic venue has been known as the LGBQTIA+ cabaret club since the 1980’s. Providing a range of events from live music to cabaret and club.

Open 7 nights a week, the venue is recognized for creating an intimate venue open to the artists of the queer community.

BETHNAL GREEN WORKING MENS CLUB | BETHNAL GREEN

A hotspot for live music in a club setting, with regular events and entertainment it makes it the place to go in the East End!

With a quirky, retro vibe you are never going to have a bad night, surrounded by some of the best drag artists in town.

GAL PALS | LONDON & BRIGHTON

Gal Pals is a queer dance party, hailing from Brighton and London, playing music exclusively by woman.  

Founding in 2015, Gal Pals is an intentional space created to address the lack of safe spaces for queer woman, trans, non-binary and gender non conforming people.

Playing the best in female fronted pop, hop hop, R&B and queer anthems, Gal Pal’s run regular club nights at Komedia in Brighton and Lafayette in London.

G.IRL EVENTS  | MAYFAIR

Premiere club nights and meet ups for queer woman and non binary people. Being quite new on the scene for events, they provide a space to meet a community and make friends in the queer community. We recommend following on TikTok to see what they get up to.

PXSSY PALACE |  EAST LONDON

PXSSY Palace is an arts platform rooted in intentional nightlife, celebrating black, indigenous and people of colour who are woman, queer, intersex, trans or non- binary. We provide space to dance, connect and engage, whilst encouraging consent, sexual freedom, pleasure, expression and exploration of our authentic selves.
