Justin Boreland PKA Merlin was signed at a time when the UK music scene was thriving. He was mentored by producers like Tim Simenon, Jazzy B, Nellee Hooper and singers like Micha Paris and Joycelyn Brown. He joined a group called Bomb The Bass at the age of 16 and went on to enjoy 7 Uk Top 10s. They were also signed to Sire Records, in L.A at the age of 17.

Since then he has produced or performed with acts from Take That to Lethal B, SJ (Drill artist) to All Saints, Neneh Cherry to Sean Paul. Having run his own successful record label, media, and management company he has developed a number of calibre industry contacts in the media,  publishing and recording industries.

Justin also runs his own organisation, Sounds Of Urban London Media CIC, providing bespoke frameworks of support for at-risk youth, in particular. They utilise the medium of music to engage participants but have a number of educational and career development programs they provide too.
