Jamie is a music business practitioner and lecturer and currently leads our  BA (Hons) Live Event and Festival Management programme.

Starting in the Music Business working in live venue like the Roadmender and Soundhaus in Northampton. He soon progressed into Tour Management with the likes of The Cooper Temple Clause among others and Stage Management at Festivals notably the Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds.

Since 1999 Artist Management has been his primary focus after signing Medium 21 to Island Records and Chrysalis Music Publishing. He has spent the last 18 years working with major and independent companies such as Universal, EMI, BMG, Mute, Bella Union, Kobalt, PIAS, Erased Tapes, One Little Indian and more besides.

In 2007 one of his acts Maps were nominated for the Mercury Music Prize for the highly acclaimed debut album ‘We Can Create’. From 2010 onwards he has been setting up labels with Kobalt and Sony Red / The Orchard to bring through alternative artists such as the US based Bill Baird on Talkshow Records who has released 4 albums in the last year and the UK based Loved Ones and Red Kite on BLOOD. Lanterns On The Lake who are signed to Bella Union joined his management roster in 2016.
