Davide Shorty is an Italian singer, songwriter, rapper and producer currently based in London. He is a production tutor at ICMP.
His distinctive sound, a blend of rap and soulful melodies combined with his naturally raspy vocals has led to collaborations and tours with internationally recognised artists. These include Madonna, Grammy awarded jazz pianist Robert Glasper, singer, songwriter and producer Jack Steadman (aka Mr. Jukes), Jordan Rakei, Bilal and many others.
Between 2015 and 2022 he released 2 solo albums (“Straniero” in 2017 and “Fusion” in 2021), collaborated on other 2 studio albums with Italian hip hop collective Funk Shui Project, and toured across Italy and Europe.
In 2021 Davide was the most awarded artist in the most prestigious Italian song contest Festival di Sanremo.
