ICMP MA in Songwriting alumna Emma Moore released her debut album ‘Pilot’ back in 2016 and has been ear-marked as an exciting emerging songwriting talent ever since.

Her career has picked up pace thanks to support from BBC Music Introducing as well as country expert and friend of ICMP, Bob Harris

Emma’s track ‘Good Girl’ was played for eight consecutive weeks on BBC Introducing upon its release, garnered over 30,000 streams on Apple Music and saw her invited to play Bob Harris’ Under The Apple Tree stage at the inaugural Long Road Festival in 2018.

On her time at ICMP, Emma said

I loved my year at ICMP. To be able to focus solely on songwriting for a year was the best experience, and to be able to round out my knowledge with writers from all genres and corners of the world was completely priceless."

"I found the course when I was looking for ways to improve my writing, and for ways to grow my confidence with writing. I devoured the website and felt so inspired, so I booked an open day there and then."

Emma's most recent record, ‘The Room’, has been a hit with critics and country fans alike, earning a nomination for album of the year at the British Country Music Association Awards.
