Terms and conditions

If you are offered a place of study, you must read our terms and conditions before accepting our offer. You will find information relating to your offer, your rights as an applicant, what you can expect from ICMP, and what we expect of you.

After you have accepted your offer

We will send welcome information via email to you before you start at ICMP.

The information we send you will include a formal letter of admission to The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and information about Welcome and Enrolment Week. We also publish information on this page, which contains links on how to pay your fees, accommodation advice, Freshers and much more. Before we send welcome information, we must have received copies of your educational certificates and your offer must be, or have become, Unconditional Firm (UF).

Frequently Asked Questions

I have a conditional offer, how do I provide documentation?

To meet the requirements of your conditional offer, you’ll need to provide ICMP with copies of all documents requested (for example, academic qualifications and English language test results.)

You can upload all your required documents to the ICMP Student Gateway. If you're having an issues with uploading documents, or logging in, please contact enquiries@icmp.ac.uk as soon as possible so we can assist.

It's very important that the contact details on your application form are correct and up to date and that you check your email regularly for correspondence from us, please get in touch if any details have changed.

I want to defer or decline my offer, what do I need to do?

We're sorry that you're not currently looking to proceed with your offer, there are a couple of options available to you:

Defer My Offer

If you decide to defer your offer, please get in touch by calling +442073280222, or email enquiries@icmp.ac.uk.

If we’re able to defer your offer, we'll reserve your place and ask you to confirm the offer ahead of the next academic year.

If we are unable to defer your offer, we’ll ask you to apply again the following year.

You can only defer your offer once. To defer for a further year, you’ll need to submit a new application the following year.

Decline My Offer

If you decide to decline your offer, log in to ICMP Gateway to do this, or get in touch via enquiries@icmp.ac.uk to let us know. If you applied via UCAS, please do this within the UCAS platform.
